i booked on expedia a hotel and flights package and in the past my flight bookings would be added to my google calendar automaticly, as recently as August this year it did, now this one i noticed is not on my calendar, ive looked everywhere on the website app and expedia for a *.ICS file to download but nothing… why isnt it automaticly importing my flight details to my calendar?
ill just have to add it manually for now.
yeah its weird those features are on ill try as you said resend the email and see what happens. its weird this is the first time its done it so not sure what has changed

Try using Tripit = they are usually pretty good at grabbing this info.
Tip if you're on Android and have Gemini.
Open the email, activate Gemini, tap "Share screen" and type "add this to my calendar" and it'll add it to your Google Calendar, usually with everything filled in correctly
I thought it was based on the subject matter of the email and not any particular attached file? Might pay to check you have Smart Features turned on in Gmail or try forwarding the email to yourself changing the subject to something like: Flight Confirmation - [Date]
