It's never been that long to port-in in my experience…Optus postpaid to Telstra postpaid. I asked customer support and they said it's normal, but I want to ask the community and see what's been your experience so far?

CS aren’t telling the truth.
CS is trained to say the most conservative outcome.
definitely not normal.. if shit goes pear shape, even then it's like a 48 hour max (estimate) turnaround time
Yes, there was a hiccup last Friday.
very normal, about a month and counting (not to mention 20+ CS reps)
I think they tell you to ALLOW up to 5-7 days.
It is usually almost instantaneous.Maybe there's lots of Optus customers that are porting to Telstra at the moment…
No Optus deal has been posted on OZB after the recent incident. I am surprised that no Optus MVNO has been reportedly affected.
If you’re having issues, pm me your number and I’ll look into it

Haven’t had any calls in a while, mind checking into it for me?
Ohh yeah look into me baby
Clearly negged by someone “without back” 😂
Post paid is longer because of outstanding charges. Pre paid should not take more than 10 minutes from any provider.
5-7 days isn't normal from my life experience. I think the most I ever waited was like 3-4 days (including over the weekend), but that's because there were issues.
Nonetheless, it's quite possible that the CS person you spoke to was new-ish or potentially a new script (which err on the side of caution). I used to work in CS a veryyyyy long time ago, and the one thing that stood out to me, was if you noted that XYZ would take 30 mins, then at like 32 mins, you'd get a phone call back. I was always cautious and provided a timeframe like "should only take 30 mins BUT can take up to 24 hours" as an example.
Nonetheless, 5-7 days is definitely not the norm.
Ops service is working in Telstra
Took mine a few days to port to Telstra from boost i thought it was weird because it is legit pretty much the same network
i essentially jump on the annual Boost/Telstra discount every year and switch between the two
My last port to telstra from lebara took 30 seconds
