Pelago by Singapore Airlines: 28% Cashback + [Westpac] 10% Bonus Cashback @ ShopBack

Very good cashback rate especially with the Westpac bonus. There are almost no exclusions on Shopback for Pelago, so it's valid for things that are usually void from cashback such as JR passes.

You won't get Cashback on:

  • Disney Cruise
  • Items specified in this list
  • Store promotions, discounts or special deals unless otherwise stated
  • Any Gift Card, Voucher or store credit purchase
  • Any Gift Card or Voucher redemption
  • Other loyalty programmes unless otherwise stated
  • Purchases made with Vouchers or Promo codes not featured on our platform
  • Taxes · Booking fees · Credit card charges

    exclusion list

    https://pages.pelago.co/shopback-exclusion-special-activitie…

    6. Tokyo Disneyland Tickets (1-Day Pass)
    7. Tokyo Disneysea Tickets (1-Day Pass)
    8. Universal Studios Japan Studio Pass (Direct Entry)
    9. Universal Studios Singapore Tickets

what does it mean by "Applicable for Shopback Cashback", even though they are in the exclusion list, we can still get cashback on them?

    • Damn those exclusions ruined the deal for me.

    • I believe the cashback on ShopBack is usually written like:

      Activities 10%
      Special Activities 2%
      Excluded Activities 0%

But that doesn't really clear up what applies for this offer.

      • Oh they've updated the offer.

        "Special Activities" are 28%!

    • Yeah this was really confusing but I can confirm I used pelago for Tokyo Disney in May and got cashback.

Can't confirm there hasn't been a change though

    • Phew - I was just about to buy universal Singapore tickets. They don’t offer refunds too so can’t buy and see if it tracks..

  • Hmm looks like esims are fine

  • Doesn't mention Eurail? Are travel pass (except swiss travel pass) and city specific passes good to go for cashback?

Cheapest Melbourne Skybus tickets in a while

Should be around $27.33 before WestPac

  • Will the sign up promo code affect cash back?

  • It appears that the 28% banner isn't showing on SB at the moment?

  • disappeared somehow

  • Yeah it stopped the upsize but working again

  • Is this for deal (28% plus 10% once only and can be used multiple times

  • Westpac 10% Bonus Cashback is capped $20,

So probably up to $200 purchase

By the way Citi bank treats Pelago aud transactions as international

    Not sure about Westpac

    • I've used my Westpac card for multiple Pelago transactions and have never been charged an international transaction fee.

      • i used amex and been charged 3% fee

also they said I did not buy from the AU website and ineligible for statement cash.

        • I bought Skybus tickets last week from Pelago on Amex, no FX fees. Says it was a purchase from 'Pelago by SIA AUD'.

Maybe depends on where the underlying activity/vendor is?

        • if click through Shopback, it should direct to AU website

  • Is this valid with Pelago’s SPRINGHOLS20 code for extra $20 off $180 spend?

      • Purchases made with Vouchers or Promo codes not featured on our platform

So probably no, but you could try on something that has free cancellation. Pelago tracking is very quick (~10 mins)

Shame many attraction tickets only go for 1-2 months ahead.

  • Just in time for my europe trip in Nov. Bought 8day swiss travel pass and tracked within 15 mins. Saved me about $250 per ticket!! Me and my wife so total savings $500. Sweet deal. Anyone else found any other good deals?

  • tracked 28% but not the 10%
