I mean, maybe, but they why is it necessary for me to put in my child's birthday to continue the sign up process?

Sure I could have put in a fake one, but that sort of collection just put me off the entire thing

    Does it have Bort?

I tried this deal last time, actually great quality labels and it was fun to design them. Would recommend.

    • That is amazing to hear!

  • $6 shipping for normal postage in an envelope costing less than $2? What else is overpriced here??

    • It’s still a good deal overall. Not sure why you expect it to be free.

      • +1

I don't think anyone expects it to be free. But to say the labels are free and jack up the shipping prices is disingenuous

        • Just consider it a package deal for $6. It’s a good deal when you consider the price normally. Not sure why we have to get upset, it’s business.

          • +1

@JSONBourne: I'm not getting upset - just calling dishonest pricing out for what it is. Whether it's a good price or not is irrelevant.

@JSONBourne: Oh wow, the classic “package deal” excuse again. Because nothing screams “totally honest” like calling something “free” and then sneaking in a ridiculous shipping fee. It’s not about the $6—it’s about the sneaky little trick. Kudos if you have a lack of consumer literacy and want to support this sort of stuff, Im sure big business love you for it :) The $6 is just a minute representation of a much larger deceptive practice.

If you’re really selling a $6 item, just say that. Don’t try to make it look like a freebie and hope nobody notices the fine print. There'd be no neg on my end if they charged $6 and offered free postage. I'm not calling you out if you find the labels great quality, I respect your opinion. Many many others have questioned the declining quality of these stickers over the years but good on you for supporting an Australian business, mate!

Nobody’s mad, babe, just pointing out how to spot a dodgy deal. When companies play these sneaky games, I'm happy to call them out just like you're welcome to love them. That way real bargains don’t get buried under all the marketing fluff. If the deal was actually that good, it wouldn’t need all these sneaky tricks. I'm sure many ozbargainers are tired of seeing these 'deals' all the time.

And hey, if you want OzDeal vibes, go there, sweetie. This is ozbargain.
