Hey folks,
I’m already on the Makita 18V system (got batteries and charger). Looking for a blower/vacuum combo to clean up hedge trimmings and leaves — my regular blower just doesn’t cut it.
I found the Makita DUB187Z Brushless Blower Vacuum around $279–$299 (Bunnings, Total Tools, Heatleys, etc.).
Is that a good price, or has anyone seen a better deal lately?
Would also love to hear real-world feedback — how’s the suction and mulching performance for garden cleanup?

i love mine, i use it mainly for vacuuming and mulching so I don't blow it into the street or my neighbor's lawn. Works great with no issues. i even bought the vacuum nozzle and it works like a charm.
blower works great too, but i really don't use it.
I’ve got the base level blower, does chew through batteries but have plenty spare
Curious if the vacuum really does well with large volumes of leaves
Tried a competitor brands and decided it was easier to blow leaves into a big pile and then scoop up vs using vacuum and mulch feature
Reviews seem good, I would expect it to absolutely hammer batteries.
