I actually got one and I agree. This is definitely a throwaway freebie cap they'd put in prize bags. Wouldn't buy this again even for 10 cents. No way this is RRP over $20.

So, I have one of these (not bought at $1, d'oh!)
It runs quite small, even for someone with a smaller head. I cut the elastic in the back of mine, now it's much more comfortable. It does ok on longer rides, seems decent at absorbing sweat.
And so the "confirmed order" lottery begins.
