I just finished putting this together yesterday, and now it's $35 cheaper.

Collect coupon for 8% extra off to take it down to $211.52. It was free delivery with Prime for me.

I was suprised at how good the quality was on this bed, unlike wooden flatpacks, everything fit together perfectly and was very easy to tighten up really well with the included allen keys, it took about an hour to put together by myself.

It comes with 2x power points, USBC and USB A (which can be used to power the LED strip) in the bedhead, although the booklet indicated 11w max for the USB ports.

Now I still wouldn't suggest using this as your primary bed for a couple, it is a $200 bed made from cheap metal afterall (total weight 38kg) but for the spare room it will do the job, It seems more solid than those fantastic furniture low end plywood bendy slat beds.

It is quite low to the ground compared to our normal bed (Japanese Style?) so check the measurements before buying.

It's made in china so the same thing is on every marketplace out there, so one of those with a high cashback may be a better option, but prime delivery made it the cheapest for me.

My shin is hurting just looking at that metal corner at the foot of the bed.

I have a similar Zinus model. Can confirm, shin hates me. Other than that, surprisingly decent bed!

Could try a pool noodle cut to size

      And my little toes hurt.

      Okay okay not to worry
We thrown in free shin guards ok ? Best price

    • At least its not your thigh a few cm above rudder depth.

  • Oh nice queen aswell

  • Have one, definitely wouldn't recommend for couple.

So it would fall apart if 2 ppl were constantly making moving while laying on it?

      • +3

        Somebody is getting action!

      • +3

Does not have to fall apart, loud squeaks are enough.

        • Unless someone else lives in the same property as well, wouldn't loud squeaks make you more excited and work harder…?

      • +6

Certain acts will now forever be known as "making moving" when I refer to them from this moment forward!

        • +7

Barista made a burnt coffee. I told him to go make move himself.

        • "Making moving" excellent suggestion!

      • +1

Considering it’s a King bed frame, if it doesn’t withstand at least three people “constantly making moving” it should be fair grounds for a return!

Charge station is a bonus though.

        • +4

I guess King size is officially orgy size.

  • +4

Don't get a bed frame with hard edges. I have lost count of how many times I have hurt my leg knocking/kneeling/falling into it.

Now I still wouldn't suggest using this as your primary bed for a couple, it is a $200 bed made from cheap metal afterall (total weight 38kg)

Noted with thanks! My 100kg horizonal break dances will fold this like origami

Chinese furniture is cheaper than you think possible despite the weight, freight and costs.

Wait for Aliexpress sales, these are just generic designs with a brand on it.

Discovered this recently. Used to buy Zinus.

  • +1

    led light

Does it support hand clap sound sync?

  • +2

Have a similar Zinus bed frame but queen. Make sure to place down the anti slip pads (kind of annoying when you want to rotate your mattress after every X years though)

  • So tempting but the reviews are putting me off. Total weight between us 130 Kg plus 2 dogs totalling 15kg.

Don't want it squeezing with movement at night either.

3 in 5 people sleep with their phones near their bed—here's why that's so bad

    https://www.reviewed.com/home-outdoors/features/why-you-shou…

  • Got it for our main bed. Starting to wonder if that's a good idea

  • Was looking at their 5-tier display shelves but the amount of poor reviews about cheap wood that cracks, doesn't fit flush, not painted evenly, etc. Even the 'glass' is a cheap flimsy plastic. Decided something else so just be careful.

  • +1

Not good enough deal. Still holding on to my completely steel frame and $100 mattress that barely fits me

  • +2

Don't recommend if you have or plan to have small kids

  • +1

I had the queen version of this frame (or one of its many clones). while it did the job, it was pretty bad quality.

  • Power points on a metal frame?

  • Is it too small for a couple and really support your back i just have surgery?

  • Really tempting. I do need a bed in a month, but can't buy it atm. Wonder if this goes on sale often.
