Where Can I Recycle Old Brake Rotors and Pads?

Just a quick one, swapped my rotors and pads. Usually there was a guy who used to drive around and throw scrap metal into his ute or a guy on his bike collecting, but that really is a right place right time thing.

Do stores like supercheap take them back or do I drive them to a scrap yard or something?

Local scrap metal recycler. You won't get anything for them (generally needs to be over 100kg of steel before you get paid) but they'll take them.

I'll chuck them in the back then and when i'm nearby I'll drop them off. Thanks!

I bin the pads and drop off the rotors at the local transfer station when it's convenient.

I remember about 15 years ago, I put my rotors in the recycling bin.

My house must have been one of the first to be collected so the truck was empty.

I remember being woken up by a thud.

OP- hardwaste if you can wait.
