The one in the description is the real deal

Worse quality but it's good.

I guess Panasonic are better.

Thanks got the 10 pack AAA

If you choose:
2 count (Pack of 2) price $13.16.
That's the price for a pack of 2 aa batteries so not as cheap as 4 batteries for 14.53 S&S

Wow that 10 pack of AAA is a great price. too bad they don't have it in AA.
What's the general concensus these days regarding Eneloops vs. LADDA vs. everything else? Is there anything else on the market that's comparable or are eneloops still king?

LADDA - 30% of mine failed, under 10yr
Eneloops - 5% failed, ~10-15yr

Got them, but it's made in China? Anyone else the same?

Yes! Already lodged a return. Can't have my existing pool of Eneloops be tainted. Made in China ones appear to perform considerably worse.

Seems like same code BK-3MCCE/4BA as https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/eneloop-aa-rechargeable-batte…

says when you live in Australia you can only buy Japanese cells when they are imported from other markets, and not through the authorized Panasonic dealers.
So these batteries both in 4 pack and with bundled fast charger pack are all Chinese made?
But the image on the Amazon ad clearly shows 'made in Japan'

I don't know but I havent heard anyone complain about TGG ones.
I would hope they are all made in Japan and the above are just unlucky one off
@furyou: Now I have received them.
The charger is made in China while the included AA batteries are made in Japan. The AAA eneloop 4 packs i bought on this prime sale are made in China.
Its nice the charger batteries are Japanese but means future buys will be from the US if you want the better cells

@datscheap: the US one looks like $60 for 10 batteries which would be almost double
https://www.amazon.com.au/Eneloop-BK-3MCCA10FA-Pre-Charged-R…
I don't think I would have double that life but it is disappointing Australia is always left with the stuff nobody else wants

mine have arrived and they're made in China despite the image of the ad saying Made in Japan. Instead of that it says 35% recycled materials. But the 70% after ten years is the same and all the other stats are the same as the image for the Japanese version.

says when you live in Australia you can only buy Japanese cells when they are imported from other markets, and not through the authorized Panasonic dealers.I've looked around and I cannot see anywhere you can buy a guaranteed Japanese version in Australia. Do they exist? the only thing I can see is the American version BK-3MCCA on US amazon which costs more than double.

I did a test when I put them into a Charger it initially shows they had 31%. But the number quickly ramped up to 50 plus a it charged for about 10 seconds. In the end they took 400 milliamp hours of charge to be full on my smart charger.
The four batteries had different internal resistance from 50 to 120 mOhm
What is all means I do not know. I'm running the capacity test now it will take a day or so to get the results.

Capacity tests 1850-1950. It also says you have to charge for 16 hours at 190mA or else. Not sure you can even buy chargers that go that slow.
In comparison LADDAs tested with higher than rating when they were new. problem is they die after three to five years.
My old Eneloops from ten plus years test 1600. Did not own the smart charger back then.
Possibly China's cells are only just up to spec while Japanese cells exceed specs?
