Those are sold by a third-party seller with questionable reputation, and will likely be the Chinese version dropshipped from HK.
Be careful with it. I ordered one from Kogan, marketplace seller from overseas. The delivery took more than a week and for my luck, the earbuds were faulty. The mics are amazing, but during call, the speakers had some kind of robotic noise, and it was hard for me to hear anything… the other side heard me clearly. And… the warranty process is a pain… after so many back and forth, the earbuds needs to be shipped back to the seller for assessment… so even the refund will take more than a month from the purchase time… and… if they say they found nothing, I can do nothing but keep it.
I've had the exact same issue with the pair I bought from AliExpress (global version from a reputable seller). Luckily, AliExpress and the seller were pleasant to deal with, and so the return process was painless and got a full refund very quickly. I took another shot and bought from Amazon instead (sold by Amazon too), and no issues so far. This leads me to believe the ones being sold in China (even global versions) have subtle differences in Bluetooth processing tech that makes them incompatible here.
Has anyone had to return things using Amazon Global? I really want to try these out but if I don't like them I don't want to have to deal with a messy return procedure.
Returns are really simple. It's sent back to the Australian hub and they deal with it.

The FreeBuds SE 4 are out now with some positive YouTube reviews, if you're after a cheaper alternative. I'm considering buying them at Temu later today with the 50% cashback to bring down to ~$50.
