    It doesn’t specify anywhere I can find. In theory a yearly membership is still a membership.

    Can you even sign up for a new yearly membership, though? I think you may only be able to initially sign up for a month. If so, I’d assume it will only qualify for that month, and while you can then swap to annual, that annual subscription wouldn’t count as a new subscription.

  Last time they had this offer my cashback was declined. Since there's no way to buy it without the free trial, there's no payment made until after the free trial. When it didn't track, there's no purchase at the time of the click. I got a pro-rated refund from Apple.
