Finally getting the last of our previous deal build and shipped. Thanks again to all who jumped in on that one ❤️ We got a lot of feedback asking for something at a lower price bracket so we've put together the below, trying to straddle the line between lowest price possible without resorting to 8G VRAM or soon to be EOL chipsets and CPU sockets.

16GB of VRAM, PCIe5 / ATX3.1 PSU, AM5 socket on a high quality VRM motherboard and 32G of CL30 EXPO DDR5. Designed for great bang-for-buck out of the box gaming performance today, with plenty of VRAM headroom on the GPU side for the long term while being spec'd ready for easy drop in CPU/GPU upgrades down the line if and when they're needed. Of course if you wanted to go with those upgrades from the start, we have the options covered to do so.

As usual, bit higher than competing deals with similar GPU/CPU combo's, but done so with an overall higher cost / brand component set and still a deep discount from PCPP/DIY. (Save ~ 20% + free assembly, QA, setup and warranty on the system as a whole).

❗CPU / GPU / PSU Upgrade Guide❗

We acknowledge there will be conflicting opinions found online and that official recommendations from manufactures will always be generous overestimates to accommodate the large number of variables that can go into any given PC configuring. The below recommendations are based on our systems, using the power supply models we provide and our own internal extensive rigorous testing. If you want to err on the side of caution or leave room for future updates by going with a higher wattage unit, by all means, otherwise treat the table below as safe minimums.

CPU / GPU Combo Min PSU
7500F / 9600X + RTX 5060 / 5060 Ti 500W +
7800X3D or higher + RTX 5060 / 5060 Ti 750W +
Any CPU + RTX 5070 / 5070 Ti 750W +
Any CPU + RTX 5080 + 850W +

‼️ CPU / Cooler Upgrade Note ‼️

While the UD551 is a great little cooler suited to the 65w TDP Ryzen 5 models, we VERY strongly recommend upgrading the cooler to ANY of the other options when upgrading the CPU beyond the Ryzen 5 series. Larger coolers will not only help avoid thermal throttling, but also typically run quieter. If noise levels are a concern or you keep your PC in an area with relatively high ambient air temperatures, stepping up from the UD551 to the A410 (+$26 / 220w TDP / non-RGB) or AG400 (+$36 / 220w TDP / aRGB) might be well worth the investment even if sticking with the Ryzen 5 CPUs.

⏱️ Lead Times

We've staffed up ahead of the impending holiday rush which has yet to land, so turn around times should be a bit better than our already pretty good usual. We like to under promise and over deliver where we can, so we're going to say our standard 5-10 business day turn around times may apply. Unofficially we'll do our best to keep those to an absolute minimum without compromising quality, while getting you your brand new PC ASAP.

Of course if we get slammed with a ton of orders quicker than we can crank through them, we'll update this post accordingly to keep expectations realistic.

TLDR : Sooner you order, the quicker it's ready.

      Bad deal

      • +11

        Nothing if not succinct ❤️

      • Yep bad for a 5060 Ti build not being under $1000

        • If you're saying Nvidia shouldn't charge as much as they do… we can all agree on that!

If you're saying given what Nvidia do charge, retailers should be offering 16G 5060Ti prebuilds at $999 😅 We'd love to know what sort of spec you're expecting on the rest of the build.

Even if their a non-profit with slave labor assembly the budget left over after the GPU to score a CPU, cooler, motherboard, kit of ram, SSD, chassis and power supply is < $300

  • Tech fast had 1288 for a 5070. Otherwise I’d be in on this deal.

Don’t mind paying more but this price for a 5070 :)

For anyone shopping purely on price and GPU, can definitely see why. Just had a quick look and it appears that was a 14400F with a very entry level motherboard, slower and higher latency 'Biwin' SSD and RAM, 650w Bronze non PCIe5 PSU and Palit GPU. Not a lot of headroom there in terms of future upgrades but defiantly a strong out of the box offering for the short term.

When we go higher spec across the board on every single component. At higher price points (9800X3D/5080 builds for example) it accounts for a smaller percentage of the overall cost of the system but at these lower end sub $1500 price points it does stand out a bit more… $10 here, $25 there… Each individually can be easily argued to be worthwhile upgrades in their own right for relatively small up front costs, but across 7-8 components it adds up.

Evatech does seem to provide better quality parts. If thats important for a low-mid end build is subjective. You will get more bang for your buck with other deals from the likes of Techfast

That motherboard is a premium quality motherboard, Nice case, nice PSU. That air cooler is probably adequate for the 7500f, but as OP says, if there is any upgrade down the line of the CPU, then a new air cooler is needed.

      That's what we're aiming for 😊.

For those who want TF prices and are happy with TF tier components, lead times, service and warranty, well TF already exists… No shade to them, it's just a slightly different business model and we're to serve those who fancy deals on something a bit more premium that TF doesn't often cater to

    • yeah its just really what kind of buyer/what u wanna get value out of - havent done the math but I wonder if a 9070 build could be done with 7500f for 1499$ built yourself

    • I think you're right on point with the comment about low mid end build. I personally feel eva can't really compete with these low budget builds where the premium is about 25-30% of the build. But with a 5070ti or 5080 system where the difference is only 10-15% it's much easier to justify the extra dough for better quality parts.

  • Other than the upgrade to a 5070 ($319 seems ok) doesn't seem much else really required?

    • Depends on what you're aiming for… You definitely don't need to upgrade anything else for compatibility.

You might want to concider a CPU upgrade if it's within the budget as it would mitigate any bottleneck in the more CPU bound workloads. It's really a case by case basis through, most games play great on the 7500F.

  • Rep, I’m keen on this deal but with the upgrade to the Lian Li DAN-A3 Wooden case. It’s an extra $90 to upgrade, but the Lian Li case and the Fractal case this deal has as default have about the same RRP. Why the $90 increase? Genuine question out of curiosity and not so much a complaint as I’m sure there’s a reason.

    • +1

Fair question! We've covered it a few times in our previous deals but it's essentially that the default case is very (VERY!) heavily discounted as part of the deal, other case options are not, or to a much lesser degree. The price difference is not the difference in the RRP's but the difference between the extremely discounted price on one side and only a slightly discounted price on the other.
