Small Vacuum Cleaner Recommendation

Hi, can anyone recommend from personal experience?

I'm after a small, powerful vacuum. We have a robot that does most of our house, so this is for skirting boards, blinds, some corners etc in the house, and for our car.

We'd like a long tube still so we can stand up and do skirting boards etc, but also a flexible attachment to do inside the car nooks and crannies.

Any recommendations?

  • buy a used miele s8 or similar. Replace the bags and filters.

i dont think the battery powered ones are there yet. The hose would give you flexibility you want.

I'd 100% use it as an excuse to get a numatic henry. Might not be as powerful as a miele though.

The C3 I used to have kept sucking the carpet up away from the floor when I used it in corners without the roller attached, it was the Nancy Reagan of vacuums.

    • yeah I've said it before but my Miele sucked up a bath towel once (and didn't skip a beat)

    • I'd be interested to see the side by side of a wet and dry vacuum vs a henry. Henry seems 3x more expensive, with half the motor wattage.

Either way, might be perfect for OP.

Let the wife choose, that way she can't complain about it.

Do you mean you want a cordless one, or ok to take out an extension cord?

    • I was only really considering cordless to be honest, I didn't realize corded small sticks were a thing.
