A couple of bargains for K-beauty brand SKIN1004 from the official seller on Amazon. SKIN1004 is a very popular Korean skincare brand, so much so that Chemist warehouse started stocking selected products this year. They are known for their products with centella asiatica, which is an ingredient that's soothing and strengthens the skin barrier.

Both products are meant to be soothing and hydrating, and should be safe for sensitive skin. These products are selling from $17-$25+ from other sites like Lila Beauty, Stylevana or Beauty Amora.

The moisturiser is a hydrating but lightweight gel-cream. I haven't tried it myself but it should be great for the warmer months, and for layering under sunscreen during the day. It contains niacinamide which is a beneficial skincare ingredient that is generally well-tolerated unless one is specifically allergic to it.

The 'Probio' ampoule incorporates centella, niacinamide, ceramide as well as some probiotic ferments which are great for skin health, reducing skin inflammation and sensitivity. It also includes humectants like glycerin and sodium hyaluronate so it will be hydrating on all skin types.

When I wake up the sun rise., but I never make the mistake thinking the sun rises because I woke up

      niacinamide and matrixyl/HA combo

How are you still alive using these dangerous dangerous chemicals!

      (all natural oils), facial oil

Careful, the U.S. might invade your face

      • -2

        Not necessarily chemicals

Matrixyl is just a sequence of Amino acids with a lipid added

Hyaluronic acid (HA) is synthesized in two main ways: biologically within cells and via microbial fermentation using sugar precursors.

Niacinamide is a form of vit B3

So chemicals are dangerous, and it's only a 'chemical' when you deem it to be a chemical.

You don't know what 'chemical' means.

          • @Ughhh: Problem with alot of commercial moisturisers and soaps are the additives that eventially cause the skin to dry so you can keep the cycle of adding more to your skin.

Do your own research and you will find that alot of the components are biproducts of petrolium

@easternculture: And "natural" prpducts don't need additives to stablise the chemicals or processed with chemicals to purify/remove contaminants?

You've been lied to by the people trying to make money off your fear.

              • @Ughhh: They actually dont. Plenty of products in the market that dont have stabilisers that are natural. Just gotta be willing to pay what your skin and hair is worth. Stabilisers added to commercial skin care is becauase they produce massive amounts that sometimes sit years on the shelves of warehouses. If you buy from independant buisnesses, they usually manufacture as needed so you can almost guarantee a fresh batch everytime you order.

You should be focusing on the root cause of your skin issue, not applying a bandaid solution to deal with symptoms of a skin condition. And you will find many skin issues like dryness is due to the soap.

Ask a nurse or doctor what they tell them to do after they wash their hands … apply a moisturiser because they know that the soap used causes skin dryness.

                • @easternculture: I hear snake oil is a popular one.

Ask a nurse or doctor what they tell them to do after they wash their hands … apply a moisturiser because they know that the soap used causes skin dryness.

I would say the same thing, hence why many people use cleansers instead of soap.

                  Some consider soap natural btw.

                  • @Ughhh: Its your skin bro, do whatever you want. If you dont want good advice, go take the advice of billion dollar companies that just want your money and dont care about your skin and only care about profits 👍

                    • @easternculture: I'm calling out Bs when I see bs.

You're talking like if small companies don't care about profits. Lol. You're the perfect customer.

  • Bought two each, thanks op

I really like this brand. Got a sample sometime last year of their ampoule and have used it ever since. Going through chemo atm and it’s nice on my delicate but dry skin
