Finally a HomeKit + Fingerprint smart lock under $200

This ULTRALOQ Bolt WiFi Smart Lock is the first ever door lock that works with Apple Home, Siri, Alexa, Google Home. It can be unlocked with the Apple home app by using an iPhone or Apple Watch.

Looks like a pretty decent deal—it’s got all the features you’d expect from a smart door lock, and the reviews are good too.

  • I've got the model without the fingerprint and had no real issues. The app can be a bit janky but rarely need to use it

  • Would be better the Aqara lock, you can tap your iPhone or iWatch. There is the option with or without fingerprint.

I just ordered the Aqara U100 from the Bunnings deal.

How does this compare with that one? I was stoked to order it too

  • I've used an ultraloq pro as our main front door lock since their original kickstarter campaign. A couple of years ago the fingerprint stopped working and I contacted company expecting them to tell me to suck eggs but to my surprise they sent me a new version. App can be a bit glitchy but haven't had any issues with the lock itself

    *finally?
Home key locks been around sub $200 for a while. Have a look at u50 ow/amazon/aqara store and u100 currently at Bunnings for $199

  • It seems they have way too many versions. In OP's link, the 2nd option is only $149. I couldn't find the benefits of the 1st option ($199)

I think the only difference was apple homekit compatibility for the $199 option.

    Be careful with this brand.
Their software is full of bugs which they haven't fixed in ages.

For example, their watchOS app no longer works (for over a year now).

I used to be a fan. No more.

Have to agree. The lock itself works just fine but the software sux big time. I can't be bothered use their software any more.
