Hawaii Deals

I'm off to hawaii soon, and want to know if anybody who has been there recently can offer any advice on where to find good deals or even just general travel advice about things to do and must see places. Are there any websites dedicated to deals on hawaii, things like restaurant vouchers and day-tour discounts and stuff like that..?

  • Which island are you off to?

You can always get good deals on activities if you're prepared to sit through some sort of promotional thing. eg. we got a free snorkel trip with lunch etc just for spending a couple of hours touring a new hotel. the best price we could find for the same trip was $55each so it was definitely worth it.
specific must see things will depend on which island you're on though.

This old thread might still apply in some parts?

  • Awesome cheers for the link. Staying on Honolulu, Maui, and the big island :)

    • Big island has the best snorkelling I've ever seen, a very affordable half day on a boat out towards captain cook point area. If i ever went back there i would do it again in a heartbeat.
The volcano haleakala on maui is very accessible and worth the trip to the top, just to see the moonscape. but of the three islands id say maui has the best beaches.
Honolulu is shopping time! Unless you go to the north shore there's little else to recommend
      have a great time,very envious

  • Pearl Harbour is obvious.

    Real DFO shopping outlet:

Also Wallmart and Best Bys for electrical goods, Bose Store is about $100 off most items.

Have a feed at the Cheesecake restaurant, brilliant food and service and nice drink at the Hau Tree bar at the Hilton right on waterfront. Cheap place to eat is the pub under the Chart House restaurant.

    • OOh, i'll def check out the bose store, been eyeing off their portable sound docks but cant justify the price. Cheers for the tips. Keep em coming

  • We purchased pair Comfort 15's noise cancelling headphones and a Soundock for patio, saved about $250 on OZ prices.
