Rang the O'Connor store in WA, they have in stock but scans at $125.

    • how did you get to talk to person in store? every time I rang them it'll either end up telling me the URL / ask me to use the Contact Us page

They have in Subiaco for $39

I bought one previously. The RRP is grossly overinflated. The image quality is acceptable, but the software situation is abysmal.

The HP Accessory Centre used to support the camera but now the support for it was removed.

They replaced it with Poly Lens, but it's bloated and it doesn't have support for auto framing despite it being an advertised feature on the box.

The software keeps notifying me that there's an update to version 1002 but the camera refuses to update and always fails.

If you don't use/install the software, the camera still works but only basic functions are supported e.g you loose HDR.

For a 4K camera, the image doesn't have as much detail as expected and the autofocus is slow and a tad unreliable.

TLDR I think it's worth it at this price since that is typically the price for a basic 1080p webcam, but don't expect too much.

Picked up a couple for $50 each in a QLD OW recently. Haven't used much yet, gave them a quick test in Fedora 42 and seemed to work well.

It took them a while to locate them & it scanned at $75 at QV Russell St store in Melb, but the very kind gentleman discounted it to $45 which he's not obliged to do. Thanks OP

    • can you share the receipt plz

  • I'd probably be heading to o'connor one after work today to try my luck.

  • Just grabbed one from Russell St in Melbourne. Refused to further discount, so got it for $75

  • Just got last at Yarraville. $54.00 for me. Prices do seem to vary but staff member doubted it existed let alone they had it. Fortunately found it out the back of store. Happy with the price

  • Got it for $28 from officeworks Keysborough

  • [WA] turned out scored one in Fremantle for $54. Refused to match the $44. $28 is a steal mate!

    • Oh, I was actually asking them to add Markdown, but the staff was like, “What’s there to markdown? It’s already at $28!”

  • Thanks OP, got one for $28 from officeworks keysborough, VIC
