Hi all
I have an Asus TUF-AX3000 which is working fine at the moment for our single storey 3 bed BK house (installed pretty centrally) but have been given an Eero 7 from my new ISP (Southern Phone) and im just wondering if its a worthwhile enough upgrade, or am I better off staying as is and selling the Eero on MP?
The form factor is mighty tempting and I dont really use any special settings at the moment.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
Worthwhile Upgrade from Asus TUF-AX3000 to Eero 7?

i personally never liked Eero system, it cannot be used from IP address, or a windows/linux machines easily, as it needs their eero app to setup and modify etc etc.
also dont like their forced beam merging, (like unable to make a dedicated SSID for 2.4Ghz and dedicated SSID for 5Ghz etc.) this creates a big problem with devices in personal experiences, like some 2.4Ghz not seeing SSID (as eero wants to use 5ghz in that area) or like 5ghz connection auto drops to 2.4 ghz even when nearby because eero wants to give us less speeds??
Also why should i be locked into using their own dns server only, and unable to use my own custom dns server.
That being said when I tested my Flint 3 on wifi 7 devices, it is indeed very fast compared to traditional old wifi 5 routers.
I was using a Telstra Gen 3 modem and moved to the eero 7 pro.
no differance in wifi range, maybe it got worse even
