slight discount on a brand new product released a few days ago.

could be valid alternative to Anker Q45 , so might see similar prices to that if you wait around for 6~12 months.

only Black is $142, other colours $151.
$179 currently at Nothing AU.

just some random stuff I remember from a youtube review:
- Bluetooth 5.4 with multipoint pairing, USB-C charge.
- comfort/grip great.
- ANC average (claims up to 40dB noise reduction. pretty common at budget price point, would like to see back to back comparison to Anker Q45), Ambient mode a bit too quiet apparently.
- quick removal earpads (with more vibrant colours available to purchase from Nothing)
- physical controls (good imo, don't like touch)
- dedicated bass or treble slider (can choose in app).
- 100 hours battery is ANC off, with ANC on it's 50 hours.
- Companion App (offers Personal Sound profiling, a customizable action button)
- only Black colour is Matt I think, the other colours are glossy finish on the outermost part, reviewer said they prefer the matt Black, the gloss is a bit cheap looking.

  • Now if Headphones (1) went to price …

    • yeah this is like the budget version of that.

review I watched mentioned Headphones (1) have that CMF doesn't: wear detection, and better EQ in the app. they also preferred the stock sound of the CMF.

  • These or the Dyson?

    • which Dyson? I don't think the $99 one is in stock anymore.

tbf I think budget headphones like Anker etc are more for beater headphones. keep them in your bag, use at gym, or maybe buy just before a plane trip because you don't want to spend more.

even if you get Dyson for $99 I don't think you will want to beat them up because they are so nice looking. looks like metal, or painted metal plastic. could also resell it for $200 after 12 months if you keep them looking new.

    • Neither is an option.

      • Indeed.

        • That Sony knockoff 😂

          • @marshmall0w2: which one?

tbh they are pretty good looking for their price.

I have a pair of $200 sony btw. ULT wear. and because they are all made of % recycled plastic now, they snap. I fixed mine, and made it so the cup still spins. but didn't expect that at $200 and gentle use.

            • @n3ck3ntry8bort0rgasm: The design of the OW one. Yes, Sony build quality is known for many issues like chipping and cracking

yeah was sad when mine broke (thought because I'm careful it wouldn't happen to me). other people also complain about the pu leather earpads flaking quickly. thankfully mine isn't it's started to show small cracks but not flaking. had it over a year now, I keep mine clean though.

most people likely will claim a refund straight away, and sony must have a lot of rejected units which are junked. can't believe sony would risk their reputation like this. I always try to fix my things if it's easy.

    • These or the Dyson?

      Dyson sucks…

  • Is it just me or headphones super uncomfortable. I can only handle earphones without tip is best. Those clip on ones ive seen for the past year is very good also

    • not sure why you think headphones are uncomfortable. for me they are the most comfortable. the most uncomfortable for me is IEM's (the ones that go in your ear canal).

      • I agree those canal ones are bad. Headphobes though are heavy as the rigid band clamps onto your ears.

        • idk you must have tried ones that were really tight or heavy.

fyi, even if slightly tight fitting they will loosen over time, like about a month depending on how often you wear.

    • Opposite for me. I can't stand earphones, earbuds, IEMs while headphones are great. Custom molds though are godly

      • Well you cant compare. How much are those anyway they skubd expensive

they are indeed skibidi expensive. 😂
