Comparatively, TP-Link BE550 BE9300 is on sale at 397 at couple shops (Bing Lee/Officeworks/Amazon). BE550 PRO BE9700 can be bought on Amazon Prime at a lesser price. Similar prices elsewhere start at $479 for the BE550 PRO (staticice). Might be an ATL?

Features one 10 Gigabit port and four 2.5 Gigabit ports. Ordered one for myself, thought I'd share it.

    I have this exact modem, i got it for $399 end of 2024 when it was half price… so good deal!
    This modem is great! no problems at all. only thing i wish it had provision for a 2nd WAN connection like 4G backup or something like that…

        A new router isn't a silver bullet for low latency and YouTube streaming. Start with a decent ISP first and work your way back.

    Cheers, I'm upgrading from a Telstra Smart Gen 2 as it can't handle the size of my network anymore lol. Should notice a little upgrade. Wifi 7 and the 10G port should give a bit a future headroom as well.

    Just ordered amazon eero7 pro, only $300 after 18% cashback. Which one is better?
    Eero 7 pro is in tpg compatible list.
    I am on tpg 500m plan and care more on coverage.

      Depends. Eero 7 Pro has Matter, Thread, Zigbee, Bluetooth support. Both WAN and LAN ports are 5Gbps.

      BE550 Pro has a USB3 port (for data), there is one 10Gbps port, which is kinda nice (for now, our NBN is 2Gbps max so that's okay, otherwise, 2 x 10Gbps ports would be better). The only catch is there are 2 hardware revisions so far (v1 and v2).

      Eero has regular firmware updates, TP-Link, for BE550 Pro, regardless of which revision, only has an initial firmware so far.

    Got it yesterday, can confirm it is V2 hardware (ie 1 x 10Gbps WAN, 1 x 2.5Gbps WAN/LAN, 3 x 2.5Gbps LAN). Very happy with it so far, wifi network can saturate my WAN link speed (750Mbps). The management app is also pretty good, a lot easier to separate networks and identify any abnormal device connections etc. So far so good.

      Can you confirm whether the 10Gbps port is WAN/LAN or WAN only? TP link specs say it's a WAN/LAN port whereas their main sales graphics show it as WAN only. I'd like to connect my TrueNAS system which has 10Gbps ethernet connectivity and would only use the 2.5Gbps WAN/LAN port for my NBN connection.

    I have two BE15000 in a mesh and god damn the wifi is so blazing quick on numerous devices anywhere in my house.

    They replaced two Ubiquiti aliens I had which were lacklustre to say the least.
