cheaper than the last two times I posted it.
first time I posted some users were making fun of something so cheap (saying the battery will die and it's "landfill"), but my friend has had this for months and it still works just fine, holds a charge and battery life still all good.
USB-C charging but not the brightest out there. but bright enough for the casual user. the beam is also very wide evenly reaching to the edges of your vision, the widest I think possible. suitable for indoors, might be less suitable for outdoors because the wideness lights up everywhere surrounding you and makes it look less bright/in the distance seem darker.
there are like 3 or 4 versions of this on amazon, if you want the wide beam one I recommend getting the one linked in deal.
as a comment said in previous deal, don't recommend using the motion control it's a bit too easy to accidentally trigger. you can on/cycle/off with a single button just like any regular headlamp.
Copypasta from a comment where I compared it to my H35R:
I compared it side by side with my Sofirn H35R.
it's slightly dimmer than Sofirn's medium 450lm, so I would say the Blukar is 300lm on max, and 150lm on low. edit: tried to keep it simple, I think my estimate will be very close if anyone else compares it with their other torch at specified brightness level.
for around the house I only use the Sofirn's 60lm, and 450lm levels. since I got it I used the 800lm once because i wanted to see if there was dust in the air.
the Blukar will be fine for use around the house, looking in your yard at night, or even walking the dogs after dark. if you are intending to use it to trek up a mountain, at the beach at night, or some serious use case such as worker, you will probably be looking to spend more and get something proper.
the only issue might be because Blukar is such a wide beam of light, outdoors it doesn't appear as bright because it lights up your surroundings more than it does far in the distance. due to contrast in dark surroundings, this makes looking into the distance appear not bright enough.
if you want to see far in the distance at night you should be buying a more focused narrow (Spot) headlamp that gets brighter.
350-550lm is the sweet spot for most but what's always the issue is that there is no report of running times.
Anything shy of 4-5hrs is just cheapie.
