Know nothing about it. Gpu probably cant run it.

    Bought it.

Also can anyone recommend a cable to run displayport from a dock to the hdmi of this monitor? It's just for the secondary for work use and I dont want to lose refresh rate capability if I can avoid it. but cables are a minefield of misinformation on amazon. It's like living in a cable MAGA world.

Most likely a gen1, gen2 has 200Hz. However you could end up getting a gen2 delivered, who knows???? Gen2 also has only 'Legion' text across the top middle on the back

    • +2

The title in amazon has "Gen 2"

      • +3

They've been wrong before. Specs and pictures say otherwise, just pointing it out. Hopefully you do indeed get the gen2.

    OOS already :(

  • Just ordered but delivery next Friday

  • IPS or VA?

    • Ips

  • Bought one for my son

  • Hmm is this actually any good?

I use this monitor, it’s pretty decent in my opinion.
It has good colour range, however hdr is bad.

      Just bought a second one.

      • I think anything would be an upgrade to my old Dell U3011 and U3014 for gaming. Still stuck on 60Hz.

    • +1

It's a good budget gaming or office productivity monitor. Colour gamut is a bit meh but acceptable, and you're not going to get anything better in this price range.

  • yea OOS lol

I price matched at officeworks, got it for $177.79

    • can share your receipt? u can cover the serial number

    • Officeworks don’t price match Amazon prime deals!!

      • It depends on who serves you. You might get lucky.

        • well i got lucky! amazon replenished its stock. i priced match it at officeworks. heart was pounding tho. haha

          • @ruztynail: How are you finding it? Mines still boxed up, contemplating returning it

            • @Broden: Its a big upgrade from my t23d-10 which is now 5 years old. Larger, higher res and more DPI.

I cant find anything with the same specs at this price. I will keep it.

Why are you thinking of returning it?

              • @ruztynail: @ruztynail Its gonna be a secondary monitor that I also pivot to my bed to watch movies. With bad viewing angles im worried it won't hit the mark with my use case.

                • @Broden: I get what you mean. with all that rotation in bed you might not get a consistent viewing angle.

I use it for work and i find its alright as long my optics is >60cm from the screen.

      • Delivery is free over $50 and you can access the deal whether or not you're a Prime member.

    Back in stock now.

  • Cheers, Figured the price would change in the next few days,

Took up the $15 bonus with ZipPay so total paid $172.15 not bad!

  • Back to $197

  • Just noticed this item won't be delivered by Amazon, instead shipped via couriers please 😶 wish me luck !

    • arrived via couriers please, I wasn't sure if I had to be home for delivery so I stayed home for the day, turns out they had authority to leave at the door, but given all the packaging was visible as to what it was, I sure wasn't keen to have it sit at my front door !

  • There are two gen for this model. And the one advertised by ow and amazon is gen 1. If you compare specs, other then the refresh rate, gen 1 has better color range and brightness.

    • I just checked the listing at now says gen 1 on Amazon

      • Yea they changed it..

        • Thats okay still happy 😊

            @Gomo: yea so am i

            • @ruztynail: The Lenovo Legion R27qe-20 Gen 2 is a slight upgrade to the Gen 1, offering more ports (HDMI 2.1), enhanced color accuracy (99% sRGB/90% DCI-P3), and a slightly brighter 450 cd/m² display, while the Gen 1 model has fewer ports and lower brightness (350 cd/m²).
              Legion R27qe-20 Gen 2
              Pros:
Higher brightness at 450 cd/m², improving HDR performance and visibility.
Enhanced color accuracy with a 99% sRGB and 90% DCI-P3 color gamut.
Includes more modern HDMI 2.1 ports, providing a better connection for modern gaming consoles.
              Cons:
May have a higher price point than the Gen 1 model.
Performance is still limited by entry-level DisplayHDR 400 certification, which does not provide the best HDR experience.
              Legion R27qe Gen 1
              Pros:
More affordable than the Gen 2 model.
Still provides excellent performance for the price, with a 180Hz refresh rate and QHD resolution.
              Cons:
              Lower brightness at 350 cd/m².
Lower color accuracy compared to the Gen 2 model.
May only include older HDMI ports, depending on the specific configuration.

@Gomo: you';re probably got this from google or some AI. but the information is wrong..

Gen 1 has better brightness - 450, where as gen 2 has 400.
Gen 2 has higher refresh rate at 200hz vs 180hz on Gen 1
Gen 1 and Gen 2 has similar color gamuts, same number of ports and specifications

                https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/lenovo-leg…
                This links is gen2 specifications.

  • Yep just got it - its definitely the Gen 1 model.

Seems dodgy to advertise it as 2 and then change the listing back to 1 - but whatever.
