          Remember HEYMIX? This brand used to be an all time OzBargain favourite until their devices literally caught on fire.
          Now, we have UGREEN and NOVOO as the new bandwagons.

            @DoctorCalculon: Yeah, and getting posted here a lot of times, doesn't make a brand Ozbargain's Favourite automatically.

            If you say MacPac Halo Down is Ozbargain's Favourite, it makes sense but a random new charging brand, with no trusted reviews & deals hardly with any countable upvotes, can't be called Ozbargain's Favourite.

            @DoctorCalculon: How is UGREEN not trusted? They have been around for quite a long time and would say their products are on par with Anker or even better. Ive seen alot of UGREEN internals and they engineered quite well, not just some random brand. Personally I would say Novoo is better than a random Aliexpress brand.

              All I am saying is UGREEN and NOVOO chargers are the new OzBargain favourites (based on the number of upvotes of their product deals).
              I couldn't care less if certain someone here is offended by the term "OzBargain favourite".

      YMMV. I'm open to the possibility that the one I have is faulty, but it doesn't handshake well with some devices.

      When comparing side by side with a topzero 330w charger from AliExpress, the topzero charger charges my Nubia z60 ultra at 50w, but the novoo occasionally will handshake badly and charge at 26w with the same cable. After unplugging and replugging a few times, I can get it to handshake correctly for 50w. I have a similar issue with my Lenovo xiaoxin pro 2025 where it sometimes won't detect it and initiate charging.

      Again, open to the idea that I have a faulty unit. Anyone else had similar experiences?

      My quick sample size of 1 review for 100w.

      It technicaly worked fine at 100w charging my laptop. However it does get hot and throttle after some point (1-2hr). Significant electrical buzzing when it's hot. Not too confident in the quality. Far too small of a surface area to be using at the full 100w with no additional cooling.

      I would probably just buy Ugreen or Anker. Both have 100w chargers that seem significantly higher in quality and have some real certifications I believe.

      I really dont see a good reason to cheap out on this. Either you have some high wattage devices that was expensive to actually buy some quality chargers, or you spend less on a slower one.

        Don't personally recommend Zyron atleast for their last generation. They just simply pasted their logo's on OEM ones found under many other brands. They sparked pretty bad when plugged in and got very hot and throttled quite fast, they also were barely able to sustain a suitable voltage at 20v5a. They also made a constant buzzing noise. All these issues were found on 2 seperate units.

            @BoltThrower: Yes, they exchanged the units, but the replacement also had the issue. It was a problem with inrush current filling up large caps (sparking). Possibly due to the small size the design had to compromise there, so there was no inrush current limiting. The buzzing would be a problem with some thing creating a certain frequency, maybe there wasn’t adequate potting compound

          At Zyron it's not really simply pasting logos. We use factory molds and work with factory to use the latest Navitas chipsets. Our Powaforce 100W mold is also used by Belkin, Alogic, Amazon Basics and many reputable brands. But only Zyron uses the latest NV GaN 5 chipset to make it higher efficiency than others along with lossless sensing based on consumer feedback. Our inclusions are also the most premium compared to all these brands who include a basic plastic cable while we include a highly durable one.

          Slapping logo is done by many reputed brands too. Cygnett, Belkin, Alogic does it too. Ugreen and Novoo does the same too. Surprisingly only Zyron gets picked on.

            @ibelievesyd: I can understand R&D is expensive, thus new brands often use OEM molds. The model I got also seemed to be used by Invizi, Mopoint, Heymix + more.

            I can give you credit for the cable I received, it was good quality and generally low resistance compared with other cables. In my experience UGreen and Belkin has their own designs and rarely use OEM molds and design their own PCB and housings.

            Possibly your new offerings are better, but I have no experience with them.
