When the gift card is sent? After 6 months?

    • To take advantage of this offer, subscribe by 31 December and maintain a paid subscription for seven months. See terms below.

So you still have to pay a month at full price on top of it to qualify.

      • As I understand, cheapest plan for this offer is $75/mo, so 7 months would cost you 7.5*6+75=$120, minus $100 gift card…

I probably stick to my free Zoho Books account then

        • It does say it applies to the base $35/mo plan, so 6x $3.50 + 1x $35 = $56 still technically nets you a profit, though not counting any extra non-discounted additional charges for add-ons, usage or payment fees.

          • @maskedmustelid: Technically yes at $35 plan. This deal is not available elsewhere and is exclusive

      • You get 90% off of the xero plan for 6 months
        So you pay 10%
After 6 month you receive Woolworths $100 voucher

Just be aware Xero continuously jacks their prices, all whilst ignoring what their customer base is asking for or providing any loyalty incentive. If you read the comments on any of their Meta ads, it tells the story.

    • Their recent plan changes allowed me to downgrade to the cheapest one. I can't complain about the price/value proposition now. Before this, I 100% would've agreed.

  • Trying to sign up a few more customers and get a few more points to bump up their partner program status?

  • Is it worth signing up got Xero if you are a incorporated but working as a sole trader?

    • It’s personal choice. I find it an easy tool to use to keep my accounts up to date.

If your needs aren't great and you're willing to learn a bit of accounting (double-entry bookkeeping (it's not hard)) then try out GNUcash.

I use it, including for foreign payments and sending out invoices and it's Good Enough[tm]. Definitely work saving $120/$140 per month (due to a need for foreign currency handling) for Xero/MYOB for me.

No direct bank account access but it'll happily read standard formats your bank is likely to export to.
