Stoner Invisible Glass Glass Cleaner 946ml $12 + $12 Delivery ($0 C&C/ In-Store) @ Repco

I've been a detailer for over 7 years and this is my favourite tint safe glass cleaner

Contains no ammonia so safe for automotive tint

And it contains a high % of isopropyl alcohol

If you want my secret way for crystal clear, smear free glass, its all in the microfibre cloth and technique

Step 1. Spray liberally on glass

Step 2. Using your first microfibre cloth wipe glass thoroughly.

Step 3. Spray glass again only very light, use your 2nd microfibre cloth (I use NV Rapids cloth, can purchase from waxit, gamechanger) to buff the glass to a clear finish

-

If you only use 1 cloth all you will do is smear the residue on the glass and leave streaks, cut out the bulk with first cloth, clean with 2nd

For really dirty glass, the process is the same but use 3 cloths, i just use the cheap bunnings ones for my first passes then the NV Rapids for the final buff

Edit.

This is how much I like this, shame they dont sell it in 5 or 20L containers

I get mine from the Stoner's Pot Palace

    • I get mine from the stoning square of <backwards country>

  • Buys NV rapids but doesn't use carpro clarify???
    https://www.waxit.com.au/products/carpro-clarify-glass-clean…

There are quite a few good cleaners around.

Clarify, Meguiar's, chemical guys total interior cleaner. They all do the job…

    • Haha Nv has great products but i really do prefer invisible glass

Purge and NV Evo / Nv Pro are top tier products, anything NV makes is fantastic

      • +1

Careful of purge… I bought a 4L and it seeped through the plastic bottle 😭

        • I use autosmart red7 much more cost effective for a 20L, purge is a nicer product but red7 gets the job done at a more economical price

    • Sorry read that wrong, they don't all do the job equally

Eg. I do not rate the bowdens glass cleaner at all

Also i haven't tried clarify but invisible glass is exceptional to me

      • I have Bowden's here and it can cause a window to become cloudy if too much product is used.

Personally I use very little Bowden's these days. The meguiars perfect clarity isn't a bad product but the chemical guys total interior cleaner does the same job too.

I sometimes think they all use the same product sometimes…

I know Bowden's has about 6 products which are all the same stuff in different bottles.

    • Is there something similar on Amazon with free prime shipping? :)

  • cheaper at SCA @ $11.20 - but limited stock

    • Unfortunately i think its near sold out everywhere, i was wondering if that supercheap 20% off would stack with clearance products

  • OP Any suggestion to remove micro scratches caused by wipers on the windshield? Will this do? Thanks.

    • I would find a detailer and specifically ask if they can polish glass with cerium oxide (glass polishing powder)

However its worth a try, but its more to remove light water spots etc, very hard to remove scratches in glass

      • Thanks, I will give this a try. Its not that bad and if it does not budge, will see a detailer.

      • Get a Jex scouring pad / steel wool. -> For the water spots. It does work. Just make sure it's fine and lube the glass.

    • Also once fixed get some bosch aerotwin wipes, they are smoother than a traditional wiper and work much better too

  • Just buy 5L of isopropyl from the solvent dealers on Ozb for $25~ and dilute it. No need to spend $12 on 1L of this stuff when the active ingredient is the same!

  • @BenTheBargainer2013

They do bigger quantities in the US and will ship, supposedly. If you're that mad keen on their product, I'd become a distributor as the website is just a Shopify site with no address.
