A have this fan for a while now and it's pretty good: quiet, good airflow and quite refreshing.

      Is it easy to clean?

      So, you're a fan?

  • I bought this one last year and the problem its quite short.

Is this one taller and better?

    • +3

Amazon lists the height on the product page: 56 vs 109, so yes the Philips is much taller.

I’ve only had mine for a few weeks but it’s very quiet. I’m not sure how easy it is to clean though.

      • do these fan need need constant cleaning?

  • Is it kid safe? If you try to put their hands into it? Will they be able to reach the blades?

    • +5

Yes it's safe - the mesh / guard is small enough no fingers can poke through it.

This is a pretty decent fan - I've got it for my home gym for a while now, and just recently bought a white one for my bedroom. Relatively quiet, easy to control (with the top touch sensitive buttons) and comes with a remote if you need it.

  • Tempting, but there's a few comments about rattling noises when oscillating. I just can't deal with rattling noises when trying to sleep!

Took the risk, will research later

Harvey Norman sells both colors for $119

      • No stock available

        • I bought one white from Liverpool 2170 Harvey Norman yesterday Monday 13th 2025

  • get one from costco seville brand. around $60

    • I think the Seville from Costco is quite noisy.

  • Not sure this or one of those air circulators like Vornado? Anyone with some insight? TIA

    • +2

I have both, vornado is great for pushing cool air into other parts of the house/long distance. This one is good for single room and nice and quiet.
