[VIC] Osram 27W 3105lm E27 LED Bulb $1 (Usually $22) @ Bunnings, Coburg

440

Illuminate your life with Bunnings Coburg, who have a stack of Osram 27W LED bulbs (screw fitting) for $1.

I can only find the bayonet fitting on the Bunnings website and it's showing as $22 for me: https://www.bunnings.com.au/osram-high-watt-bc-led-3105lm-ww…

There are lots of other bulbs on clearance for between 50c and $5, and some Philips Hue accessories too: https://imgur.com/a/Nl8EP2J

I like big bulbs and I cannot lie…

      • My immediate thoughts go towards an bizarre news (fake maybe) about a bulb, prison and person. 😱

"Illuminate your life" may be a bit of an understatement!

Does it also consume a lot of electricity?

    • +19

If I had to take a stab I’d say approx 27 watts

    • -3

It is almost twice the electricity consumed by an LED bulb in your home.

  • Damn, I bought it for $5 two weeks ago.

Hey somebody Gotta keep the economy goin

      • Bought it for $22 some 5 years ago :(

this must be super bright, can't think of a use case

    • +1

      Garage

      • Yes, although personally I don't like using warm white in 'working' type areas. I've actually got the daylight version (6500K) of this bulb in my garage and it works great.

    • +1

Super bright, yes. Helps if you have high ceilings.

  • Anyone know if the daylight version is also on sale?

    • It was just what’s in the photos, including only this warmth in the thicc bulb. Probably why it’s on clearance is my guess.

  • +2

3105 lumens per dollar. That's pretty great.

Considering the sun's brightness is estimated at 127,000 lumens per square metre, one could replicate a single square metre of the sun's illuminance for just $41.

    OR

Replicate the entire sun's brilliance for a mere $11,497,584,541,062,800,000,000,000

Be sure to scan your flybuys card…

  • can't find it in Keysborough, could it be only in Coburg store?

    • +1

Probably just clearance stock at Coburg.
