I ordered on saturday and got a notification of aus post parcel creation today. Seems like things are happening
ordered a 5070 at mwave a few weeks back, then got the 9070 deal instead and requested a refund. Refund was processed with no issues and i got the 9070 posted straight away. Should still be ok, digidirect generally sucks with customer support but if it's in stock then i've not had any issues.
I ordered a new CPU and RAM from them about two weeks ago. Both parts showed as in stock at Mwave and were ready for pickup the next day.
Got my U7 Pro XGS delivered today, so no issues.
Ordered a 9070 XT on the 8th (5 days ago), arrived today. In Sydney, YMMV
Multiple ozbargainers have reported receiving their products recently. I just think you need to avoid any products that "at the supplier". There are some people who haven't received their orders.
I received a delivery from them today. It was delayed a bit because of an optimistic timeframe estimate on an "available at supplier" part.
Got my 9070xt today in QLD. Ordered it Wednesday
Wish I knew that before buying a GPU from them 2 weeks ago…
they were bought out by digidirect
they also just shopped a 9070xt for 995 bought on Friday (awaiting delivery)
Been considering a 9070xt for a whole new build but at this price im so tempted to get this throw in a 5700x and call it a day.
Me too. Just bought 9070.
My analysis paralysis just had problems with buying another CPU for AM4.
But the price between 9070 and xt is getting too large for performance difference i probably wont even notice. And i can probably hold out until am6 then
My brain is going around in circles lol
Me in the same situation as I have 5900x and 64GB 3600 RAM which is still enough for any tasks, just wanted to get new video card to replace my 3070 :)
9070XT is bit too much for my rig, QHD monitors, as I still can slightly overclock this Gigabyte 9070 to boost the performance if I really want it which still uses less power than 9070XT. I'm now satisfied.
it's wild how 1200 back then is flagship pricing, pretty sure thats how much i spent on the 980 ti on launch
You realise 980ti launch was before like 10 years of inflation?
water is wet
Then really not sure how it's "wild"
It's 10 years already, everything is more expensive not just gpu….
Isn't this an ATL for the 5070 Ti? Maybe I was a bit too hasty with my purchase last month.
Tbh with over 1 grand gpu, I think just buy it whenever you feel it's right. Maybe except at launch day cause the price is only make sense for early adopters, but 6 months+ after that when things are normalized then you do you. The argument is always "wait X months for X amounts decrease", but is the wait worth the save? That's depends.
Yep by $10
I admire those who can still game. With all what's going on in the world and pressures of daily life, I cannot disconnect long enough to find amusement. Always thinking, "should be doing something else". While these prices are great, my rig goes unused these days, so no need to upgrade (still get the itch to).
I can understand that feeling. I go months without PC gaming sometimes because of life. Recently I've been able to get back into it though. Good on you for not wasting your money if you're not going to use it.
Maybe learning 3D modelling would be a good option to both utilise the GPU and have a sneaky game.
Multi tasking is a skill. I'll even listen to podcasts while gaming if there isn't enough going on.
That's just getting older mate, and probably unrelated to how shit the world is.
Worth it for SteamOS/Bazzite machine?
Ordered a 9070xt on Friday. Got the tracking details today.
Put in another order for the rest of the build. All parts in stock except ssd which was at supplier. Any idea if they will ship seprately?
They've already provided tracking for the GPU which means they've already created the label for it so yeah it's going to be separate. And we don't know when you ordered all the other parts? Today or…?
Either way just check the order status on the website, if they're all at the same stage and you don't receive a 2nd tracking number then it's likely it's all shipped together
Curious to know others thoughts here - mwave was insolvent a few months ago and I read a lot of people were struggling to get their products or refunds.
Has anyone had success with a mwave purchase recently?
