  • Promo is OCT25 if it is not coming up

  • My Kogan 365 plan is expiring in a month…is this a good price?

Also is there an international roaming option?

    • -1

Relative to amaysim's current pricing, its a good price and works out to be $14.60/month and 16.67 GB/month. However, Kogan is offering 360 GB for $179 right now for 30 GB/month and $14.90/month so it costs slightly more but you get almost double the data.

However, I have no experience with Kogan and am wondering how your experience with Kogan is, as I am planning to get a plan.

Amaysim and Kogan do use the Optus network so it might be worthwhile to go for the Kogan deal if that is the case.

      • +2

        Kogan uses the vodafone network

      • but does kogan get the same bandwidth as amaysim? will you get the same 'real life' coverage?

      • It works for me - that's all I can say :)

Although it's 4G only and that's a non issue to me.

I tend to jump yearly based on what's on sale at my time of renewal, looks like I'm staying with Kogan given same price but with heaps more data (thanks for bringing it up btw!)

        • Kogan is running a 5G trial so maybe you might have access but your area does not have the 5G infrastructure to be able to utilise it.

      • *Correction: Kogan uses Vodafones network but Vodafone recently partnered with Optus to use their infrastructure in rural and regional Australia to reach Australians that would not have been able to use Vodafones network.

        • Ha! My kogan expired and I was gunna do amaysim, but ended up pulling trigger on another year w kogan

(I usually lean towards a new company each year, but have been generally happy w kogan's voda coverage the last 12 mths)

  • If you want More data, try the OnePass deal 280GB Data for $168

    • Link please! Does it include Unlimited international talk & text?

      • -1

        Not international calls https://onepassmobile.com.au/product/data-23

Lyca is doing 200gb for $110, but apparently they are bad.

        • Thanks, but no international calls is a deal breaker for me.

          • +2

@ganjadeals: Lyca has international calls too. Vodafone

            • @fozzie: Lyca is an option too but recently i've seen not so good things about them on OzB. I'd rather deal with amaysim customer service who have been excellent everytime I've needed to reach out to them.

              • @ganjadeals: I have been an amaysim customer for 3 years and they have have been pretty good.

    000-ptus

When will it need to be activated by? I can't see it on their website. Looking for my dad who's current sim expires Christmas day.

  • +1

Jumping on this deal my boost expires in 2 days & the recharge price for boost 365 is obscene & the network is crap on the GC .4211

    • +2

Same for me in SE Melbourne, boost is nightmare and I can’t use data even it has signal!

    • You have boost I have Milo lol 😂

  • This might be the one! International call and text, cheap roaming. Had good experience with amaysim before. When will it need to be activated by?

    • +1

Got it. It's just an extra $3 per month compared to the cheapest (OnePass/Kogan), I can afford it. International call and roaming are a big plus. So sick of Vodafone losing signal around Croydon/Stanmore so maybe floptus will be better? Don't mind me, just trying to justify the purchase to myself.

  • +1

The customer service of Amaysim is great, If the data quota could be slightly higher, I will get this paln.

  • Stay clearbof Lyca. MMS is not included. You have to pay for it

  • I wanted to extend this plan (number share) to Apple Watch for say 5$ every month. Is it available on this? Esim for watch (cellular Apple Watch) ?

I have Cole’s (similar for 160$) but they have ridiculous roaming fee and the number share not available I mean eSIM not there

If former is available I’ll go with it

  • Shame not for existing customers

    • $10 prepaid with vodafone from supermarket for a month and jump back. Easy!

      • Was planning to switch my parents. Who aren't so tech savvy

  • +1

Can't see when it needs to be activated by

  • this plan compares to the vodafone $320 300GB 12M for $199. which one is better? thanks

    • +1

Depends on your location. I actually get better performance on Vodafone than Optus in NW Brisbane. Same performance in non metro areas where Vodafone roams on the Optus network.

      • Thanks, is there a way i could check? postcode 2127

  • Been with Amaysim for a few years, come and go. went to other ISPs but always come back. This year I'm staying. good customer service, good roaming price, etc.

  • +1

I was with Amaysim for 1 week. I changed to Boost because the internet reception was awful… couldnt load a page half the time.

    • Same pain here and can’t wait boost plan finish….

  • After place the order shown:

Our shopping cart isn't working right now…
Whilst we twiddle with the on/off switch, we suggest you come back later and try again.

    :(

  • no way i literally renewed my plan 1 day before this post……………..paid 150$ for half year plan………"((
