We all do! Great drop! But give it time Jimmy, with the slump in alcohol sales around the world there will be consistent discounts in the future.
Even @ $90 I doubt many people will buy this, even though it's a nice drop.
iirc the last bottle i got was around $90 - always like to keep at least 1 bottle on hand..but then ended up getting 2 bottles of the XO too so just been having that instead.
XO is nice I admit but almost double the price and is permanently on sale @ $159 @ Nicks or Amazon. For $159 you can nearly get Foursquare.
Spewing I missed out on the $99 El Dorado 15yo @ TheDrinkSociety. Another good recommended drop.
@GardenGnome: ill look into foursquare / el dorado too - i like zacapa as mass appeal - pretty much even casual drinkers that come over i can pretty much offer them a shot of zacapa to sip on and they'll enjoy it…. rather than watching them wince/grimace while trying to make it look like they enjoy Talisker / Laphroaig/ Ardbeg haha
@Jimothy Wongingtons: Foursquare is really good. El Dorado good as well. Must try them if you like a nice rum. And yeah, Talisker is utter garbage, but Laphroaig & Ardbeg are a level above but not world class. Personally, I prefer Aberlour or Glenfarclas to be honest.
@VerticallyIntegrated: No, it wasn't. TheDrinkSociety is rarely posted here which is good for us plebs who subscribe to their emails. They usually beat or equal Nicks. Only problem is delivery is $250 with TDS so an extra $50 on Nicks. Either way TDS or Nicks are my go-to vendors then DM when 15% off.
