    Cygnett Voyager Bluetooth TravelTag

    Do you have a Wi-Fi 6 version ?

    • No We don't have.

  • Simple USB-C Charging: Recharge conveniently with the included USB-C cable. No battery replacements needed—just plug and charge.

so the battery is non-replaceable? what type of battery is it?

    • lithium

  • And customs will just cut it off, if they want to inspect the bad/case.

    • TSA Lock

  • +1

I just get the lock itself online for a few bucks and then throw in an airtag.

Less clunky and can easily replace batteries.

    • Yeah. Anything with a soldered in battery is a no from me where possible.

      An AirTag is good enough.

    • +1

?! This has never ever happened to me with my checked in luggage.
Air tags, spare Cr2032 batteries, AA / AAA batteries.

    • +1

I put one in all my check in lugguage and have been for the past few years. Most recent trip was last month. No issues

    • Wuttttt lollll

  • +2

If your bag is stolen, the lock will be cut off. Best to hide a tracker inside instead.

  • lots of people mentioning airtags here. Any good android alternatives? Or airtags with browser access is a thing?

    • I use Tile. The non-replaceable battery sucks though. Although you can apparently hack in a replacement CR2032.

    • ugreen

      • ugreen does not work with Android?

  • You are not allowed rechargeable batteries in checked baggage. Recently I was forced to carry my braun shaver and Oral-B toothbrush in my carry-on. In the past these were allowed, but now the TSA says they need to be put in carry-on.

    • which airline?

      • Philippines.

  • For anyone who doesn’t know: TSA locks are a joke, anyone can buy a master key for $2. For example, this one is a TSA007 (see the 3rd or 4th image), and here’s a $2 master key. And the first thing a thief will do is cut the lock (or in this case most likely unlock it with a $2 key) and toss it, worst protection and tracking idea ever.
