Interesting to know that the switch 2 edition contains the switch 1 version + the upgrade to switch 2
So practically - one may insert switch 2 edition into switch 1 and be able to play the switch 1 version.
The same is true for 1st party titles - switch 2 editions of botw, totk and Pokémon z-a as well.
Same with third party physical that are labelled Switch 2 edition and not key card - Rune Factory GoA, Story of Seasons Grand Bazaar
