@brokeneither: Agree, I think this is probably the most solid launch of any BF or COD game in a long long time. I've encountered relatively few bugs (though the 0 ticket bug in conquest is annoying, only encountered that a few times) and there are some other teething issues which are to be expected like progression and challenges being out of whack etc. Lack of server browser is a major disappointment but thats not new.
BF 2042 was a hot mess.

"it's just not a very good Battlefield game" best in a long time, if you want proof go to Steam charts and check BF6 peak vs 2042 for example
Depends on positive reviews and if they keep the players happy. If it's a really good game the most you can expect is 20% off in 6 months.
This target deal plus upgrading in ps5 to phantom edition also works out cheaper than buying phantom edition outright.
79$ disc plus PSN phantom edition 40$ comes to 119$.

I've been playing and it's a huge improvement over 2042. Map criticism is definitely valid. They need to improve them, but they always do. Map variety is decent for launch though.
People in the Reddit sub are generally quite happy with the game.
