That was the Razr V, not M.

  • Could someone please post where we could get these phones cheap that's compatible with this offer?

    • Well, the stores listed on the cashback page are:

      • Fone Zone
      • JB Hi Fi
      • Leading Edge Technology
      • Telstra

I believe the Razr M is $600 outright at all of them - JB at least (dictated by Telstra, perhaps), but don't take my word for it. You might have success at a local store, in finding a bargain.

Razr M (JB Hi Fi) (Telstra)

      Edit:

Bonus Details: $100 Cashback when you purchase a selected phone plan. Valid until 31st March 2013. Valid for the first 3,000 claims only.

Only available if buying on a plan?

      • Only available if buying on a plan?

Specifically Clause 6: "6. To be eligible to enter the cash back component, the individual must, during the Promotional Period, purchase any Motorola RAZR HD (IMEI number commences with 353182) or Motorola RAZR M (IMEI number commences with 353203) that is a Telstra Version only (this can be identified by Telstra Logo on the box and the unique IMEI range) mobile hand phone device from a Telstra store or authorised Telstra dealer store ("Participating Stores").

The T&C say nothing about "buying on a plan" (I searched for word "plan" in the T&C and came up blank).

I went into the Telstra shop cnr Swanston and Collins Streets (MU building) this morning and they said that not all Telstra stores were "participating dealers": they weren't, and told me to go to JB HiFi or Easy Fone up the street.

When I bought my Razr HD at release back in October, I asked "best price outright" at my local Telstra shop and purchased for $680, instead of $720.

  • Which one is better

  • Outright or on plan?

    • The cashback offer is available on both plan and outright :)

  • The offer might expire soon.
