Thanks, managed to grab one before the price change.
Apparently, surge protectors degrade over time, so it's wise to replace them every 3–5 years.I heard they degrade with every surge. if you haven't had a surge it should be fine.
Don't know a lot about it but decided to replace mine since it was well over 10 years old.
it also depends on the rating apparently, but to add to my comment above. if it's a strong surge a single one can degrade it so much next time protection is zero.
tbh don't get many surges, had a few lightning strikes nearby but didn't get any surges. but when the grid goes out, the moment is comes back I get a surge. but only the powerpoints closer to the electric box.
@n3ck3ntry8bort0rgasm: Good to know, grid goes down all the time here. Hopefully, Belkin will replace my PC if it blows up over the next two years.

I bought this belkin one impulsively because it was on sale for around $22. I had this idea to have a mini solar battery system with a power station and some panels. I also planned to leave it plugged into AC so I could set it to charge it off peak on rainy cloudy days, and protect it from surges because it was quite a expensive investment if I planned to do it.
ended up not doing it. just have the protector in it's box. because like you I planned to plug my PC, and the UPS delay of power stations is not exactly what I expected (both ways). apparently if AC/solar stops, and it switches to battery it will switch in ms as claimed, but when the solar/AC comes back on, the same delay is not guaranteed. so there is a risk the PC's power will cut. it needs 10ms delay both ways according to ATX standard.
Anything with a 45w usb c? Great deal and still considering getting it, but my 3 in 1 charger requires higher than 30W :(
Thanks, just moved so bought a few for around the joint.
Seems like it could have been a pricing error? Wouldn't normally expect different sizes to be the same price.
