My personal favourite Filament for my P1S is at a good price again. I like the fact I can use my old RFID tags from my Bambu spools on these and its just like having Bambu Filament but cheaper.

  • When you say it’s just like having Bambu Filament but cheaper, are yuppy referring to the quality?

These don’t have an RFID tag, right?

    • +2

They do not have the RFID tag. Only Bambu Lab branded stuff does.

    • OP said they are using their old RFID tags from Bambu on these spools. This tricks the p1S to think it's Bambu which is nice to self detect colour and type.

    • Is this because the print profile/settings of these filaments work the same as Bambu?

      • Profiles for Sunlu have been in the app for awhile now. Before that the bambu or general ones worked ok.

  • Nice the matte petg black was finally in stock. Love the petg matte over regular petg. I dry it out and run the Bambu petg hf profile and it works perfectly.

    • I can only see regular petg - is that the Black matte?

      • You should see a material option for Petg(Matte) it's the last option in my eBay app.

        • how is it compared to pla matte?

usually use pla matte but been printing lots of petg and thinking moving to that

          • @QuQ: I think the Bambu PLA matte I had looked slightly better print quality wise, but the PETG matte is quite a bit stronger/temp resistant.

just make sure you dry it, I did 65c for 8-10 hours and just run the Bambu PETG HF profile on my P1S and it printed perfectly.

I've used over 10kg of the Sunlu PETG Matte at this point and it's my go to for pretty much everything.

            • @Souvis: yes i generally print practicle stuff now adays so have switched to petg but matte pla black looked so good

might have to get a few and try
