Cheapest place to get roses on Valentines Day in Sydney?

Help me find some cheap roses :) Where does everyone usually get their flowers from?

    Expect super inflated prices, from memory, a dozen long stemmed roses would cost around $35-$50 during non-peak periods. I'm not too sure what the price would be for v-day though.

    I get them from my neighbours garden. 1 dozen roses free.

    Or buy them the night before…. Surprisingly prices just double for that one day of the year…

    FYI, depending on where u live, when I used to live near Glenfield, on the way out past Holsworthy's barracks there's always a farmer? with his truck on the side of the road selling fresh roses on V day for a bargain every year….it's not as nicely wrapped as the florists but with the money you save you can almost buy an industrial-sized roll of cellophane and wrap it yourself :) and your girl will love the fact that you've put "some effort" into wrapping it too :)

    Thanks all for the suggestions, Shout It Out might have a point.. I think this post will strangely just disappear in a few days.

    I think from now on I will start growing my own in a secret spot in the backyard
