🌱 Vineyard: Lower Tintara, Kays Rd - originally planted by Thomas Hardy in the 1880s.
🪨 Soils: Maslin Sands, laid down 34–56 million years ago during the Eocene epoch.
🌙 Harvest: Cool night-picked 25 Feb 2025
⚗️ Winemaking: Whole berry pressed, 100% stainless-steel ferment to keep it crisp & aromatic. Bottled in May 2025 for maximum freshness.
👃 Nose: Lifted strawberry, raspberry & cherry.

    RD - is this the same Grenache plot as the ones from the 12 pack?

      @avinit86 Good question. They're about 20kms apart. Lower Tintara is a new planting and will make a great dry-red in a few years time, whereas, the Blakely vineyard vines are around 27 years old. :-)
