Gen5 is a bit more powerful in boost mode, but you wouldn't use boost all the time due to noise and probably bad for the battery, it also has a slightly larger battery. The main user difference is the on/off toggle and weight. V15 has a trigger that needs to be pressed down continuously, there are third party trigger locks to overcome that. Gen5 is about 500g heavier.
We have the Gen5, if buying again, would wait for a deal that includes the stand.
Do you find yours too heavy?
No, guess the only time you will feel the weight is when docking/undocking and lifting up/down the stairs.
We bought a third party stand, an extra cost if prefer not to wall mount, hence a "Complete" deal is a better buy.
I was tossing up between the two and ended up going the V15. Weight doesn't bother me, but I prefer the V15 with a trigger lock to the awkwardly located button on the Gen5.
And more importantly I could find cheaper third party batteries for the V15, where as what I saw for the Gen5 was OE only and like 3 times the price.
so. if my kid runs a cleaning service and I pay him for cleaning his room
he can claim this vaccuum as a business expense?
Against what tax though lol?
Surely he'd be under the tax free threshold unless you're paying him the big bucks
now here's a thought 🤔 haha
Dyson is better in performance
Thanks, got one. Was looking at the V10 but for only a little bit more this is a much better deal!
Gen 5 detect is better no?
