just bought a cheap 2000 pulsar runaround with a bit over 200k km on it… doing the usual oils filters etc,
would this be suitable?
i usually go 10w40 for my shitboxes. based in SE qld
If it's a shit box just go with a regular mineral oil like Castrol magnatec and save your money for other repairs. So long as you change the oil regularly of course.
A touch thicker oil is probably good for the warmer Qld climate, especially if you get a bit of blow by from worn piston rings.
this is perfect for it. it's a top end oil so it'll last longer and be equivalent or better than cheap mineral/semi synthetic. it's a no brainer getting top end oil on sale for any car really

Thanks OP got one click and collect. :) The other half price deals on Mobil 1 & Castrol EDGE 5-30 oils stated they did not work with my 2016 i30 This one did :)
