Roborock Saros 10R $300 Refund for Prime Big Day Purchases

If you bought a Saros 10R robo vac on Prime Big day you may be able to get a $300 refund from Roborock.

I bought one for 2299 on amazon prime big day sale as it said it was $600 off.

A couple of days later, roborock reduced the price to 1999 - online and across all retailers - except on amazon. Obviously I was crossed. Asked amazon to refund the difference, they didn't agree and offered me to return it for a full refund.

Sent a message to Roborcok on their website chat yesterday. They asked for the oder number and issued me a $300 refund today.

I am happy with the vaccum and the fact that they owned up and refunded the price difference.

lol i think the issue is you paid 2k for a robot vacuum with no lidar

It does have lidar and it is pretty good at navigating, even around chairs gets moved around

$2k for a vacuum for lazy arse folks is bonkers.

      Saves me 40mins a day,

By that logic, washing machines and dish washers are for lazy arse folks too… or electric/patrol lawn mowers…. lol the list goes on…

You were spending over 4½ hours a week vacuuming and mopping your McMansion?

The other assisted chores you mention still require a level of human effort that keeps you moving, burns calories and gives a sense of achievement.

Sense of achievement lol, sour grapes eh…

          • @azero: Yep. I get a sense of achievement when the house is sparkling. You'll learn to take pleasure in the simple things one day.

So you didn't answer my question - you were spending over 4½ hours per week vacuuming?

@MS Paint: yes 40 mins every day, after the kids go to bed. Not vaccuming, gave up the dyson. Was using a broom. I actually have a small house with wooden floors, but cleaning the living, kitchen, dining, hallway etc… took me nearly 40 mins every night.

Robot takes longer, but now I either go to bed or watch TV while it is doing the work- it even mops the floor. I can see why it seems expensive but for me it is well worth the money.

    • They have money and they can do whatever the fk they want. Keep your opinion under your pant please.

  • Nice tip!

  • I try to search Saros 10R in Amazon and as I've already guessed, it's sold by Roborock, via Amazon FBA program. I've checked Camel and there is no Amazon AU as seller of this product.

Yes Amazon AU answers queries for Roborock, but refunding price difference for sellers is not within their authority to do so. Thus why you reach out Roborock the seller directly, they can do something about it.
