I was going to buy these a year ago, I only needed one but I ended up with 4 x Kings Lithium Rechargeable LED Camp Lantern. Currently @ $79.84, but when I went in store to 4WD Supacenter they had an even better deal which wasn't published online. I paid $46.95 and it came with a bonus canvas bag.

Although they don't come with a specific carry case. Apart from that they seem like the same product.

They look a bit different, the Hardkorr (and Aldi) ones come with a charge cable that does all 4 at once, they used to be Micro-USB but are now USB-C. Plus the case is handy.

Those Kings ones look like you need to remove the battery to charge it, so you'd need 4x powered USB ports available to charge them all at once.

      • If I got em for under $50 too I could live with it… (and buy a 4 way splitter cable from AE)

      • You are correct. I have both and by the time you add a cable to charge them all and once and having to remove the batteries. I would stick with the Hardkorr ones. The build quality is much better also.

  • $99 is pretty much the standard price at Snowys (occasionally they go up to RRP).

Fantastic lights though, and appear to be the same as the Aldi ones they sell sometimes.

If they had a remote control then I would be sold.

I have the similar looking kings ones and love them! Perfect for camping, also have used them for work and the flashing orange light is great for safety

    • These look WAY better than the Kings

San Hima do a similar set. $69.95 from Amazon. https://www.amazon.com.au/SAN-HIMA-Rechargeable-Dual-Color-W…

    • They look identical to the Kings ones

    • Look like the Kings ones, except the max runtime miraculously has doubled :)

Surely they're taking a piss at $100 let alone full rrp.

Liitokala lf-986 has more output for $12

Alot of magnetic cob leds for under $10 on alie.

Lt1s has more lumens than 4 of these for half the price

That Liiokala are work lights, the amber on the Hardkorr is going to be more useful than the bright red function. The LT1s is a different kettle of fish all together, these things are light as hell and attach to pretty much anything. They're camping lights, you don't need stuff so bright it lights up the entire site

I've run those Hardkorr and Aldi kits for 3 nights before needing a charge, 3 under the tent annex are perfect and the amber mode completely cuts down the amount of bugs around.

I've got the Aldi version of these, they work bloody great and were only $50. Haven't seen them at Aldi in a while, wonder if they'll be back any time soon.

I have 3 of these. They are absolutely worth the money. Sturdy and well build with a strong magnet and cord. Long battery life

I love them for the “yellow” light mode. It’s perfect around a camp site without being blasted with bright blue lights (can’t handle that)

Perfect for kids too. Better than giving them a torch because you get less torch in eyes moments.

    I highly endorse !

I think i paid around $78 for CAOS LED Lantern - 4-Pack in Jan 2024, had a look and they don't do them anymore unfortunately.

I will say they are handy lights, and if you pair them with some thin sheet magnet shapes from Ali-express and sandwich them to the tent fabric and works well as a down light for inside the tent, as well as a good down light for cooking if you use the same method with your tarp.

Having a look at the BCF link it looks like they have an internal battery but mine came with AAA caddies as well as the Li-ion battery

Another rebrand of these it seems

  • I have these. they are amazing. BUT the ones for half price from Aldi are IDENTICAL. wait for them to go on sale if you can they were literally $49 and identical.

  • I have 2 of these and are super handy to keep it in the car always! Sometimes you just want to sit at the beach by your car and have a bevvy, and having this attached to my boot , super handy. The carry case and charger are just super convenient and amongst all the other camping gear that you can get, the more simpler pack up and set up can be, the better time you can have camping and building a sick fire
