I bought the $9.95 kfc packed lunch yesterday

      • +3

        still gives energy nice

    • +4

Thats a 2A charger, not the same stuff.

      • +1

This is also a 2A charger well one of them anyway

    • Ok to trickle charge but 44 hours to charge a battery, that alone would mean a lot of people would be rushing out to buy a new pre charged battery from somewhere so they can make it to work for the next 2-3 days

      • nah just overnight would be enough charge to jump start a car if the battery was dead

  • +3

The 6A 12V also has a 2A mode so that's the better deal

  • +2

Not for lithium batteries as no mentioning anywhere.

Gooloo hasn't had any good deals on lithium batteries for long. I pulled my trigger on this 20A charger. 2A seems low in 2025. $64 shipped but bucky but seems solid. Used once. Haven't tested in depth yet.

Thanks, ordered 4 of the bigger ones (Christmas)

Hello, Thanks so much for the post, my car battery is literally dead and i've been tossing up getting one of these vs just ordering a new battery. For this price it's worth the trial.

I have ordered 6 total, for myself and Christmas presents :) The reviews on Amazon seemed promising.

    • I think you are after a portable jump starter not a battery charger

But I guess it can help repair it maybe

    • If the battery has given up the ghost you need a replacement. Better chance cleaning the terminals and leads, as corrosion can limit the current.

    • If the battery has gone completely dead and sat like that for a while then that seems to really degrade them quick
If it's happened a few times, then it will be stuffed, and you'll need to get a new one - Don't ask me how I know :(

These little trickle charges are great for keeping batteries topped up and in good condition in cars that aren't driven much. Just don't forget to unhook them - again, don't ask me know :(

    Thanks, Got 2!

  • I don't see any information indicating that it has an AU plug?

Can anyone confirm if they have ordered one if it does come with an AU plug?

    • -1

The manufacturer is Australian so assuming yes.

    • Looks to have a US plug

    • Sent a message to the manufacturer

    • +2

Hi, Gooloo has confirmed its an AU plug.

      • +1

        Awesome, thanks for checking

  • Anyone know if this has any of the advanced revive/repair features of the more expensive brands like Noco, ctek, victron, etc?

    • +1

Doubtful (as I am sure you suspect) - whats more relevant I would say is whether those features have any significant tangible benefit over just good battery charging practices on a cheap and cheerful charger like this.

      • Actually I have since looked athe pics and it does have a repair button. It's rare but I do occasionally have batteries that wont charge with some chargers, and these rapir modes are meant to get the battery back into that shape safely.

  • Received these on Friday. Can confirm they have an AU plug. Has a built in fan so they stay nice and cool during charging. Have been using an old dumb charger to periodically desulfate my car batteries but these are less bulky despite a higher output. Nice to have 2 so i can do both cars at the same time.

  • Anyone wants to sell the 2nd charger in Sydney CBD or Hills? I'm after the 6A model.

  • How is this compared to Victron? Justify a big price difference? I will be mostly maintaining / topping up my car and boat batteries.
