I have POE cable and sparky used the cables to connect an ac adaptor for Google Nest camera.
This may work the same way.

Do they have any doorbell that isn't battery powered and doesn't require homebase and purely use the app?

Just a reminder you may need a chime in your house so you know someone presses the doorbell.
Good concept but whoa that's not very attractive when all said and done
keeps the bell safe, you can paint it if you want .
I have the one with the lights on it (don't even use the lights) and battery is trash (like only 30 days) compared to original single cam which probably only needs a charge every 5 months or so. Only changed because I wanted a floor cam.
I've installed this and it works very well.
