Its likely this new product flopped badly and they have too much stock so need to sell it at a discount. How this got past the trial stage I don't know.

if you are on android, go to kfc app settings and clear data, open back up and login again. Hopefully popup will show up upon logging in

Sometimes if you don't give a selection the app will automatically choose for you. Might be worth checking the rewards section?
Just wanted to add that doing this on mobile data worked as opposed to wifi (same happened with the Christmas in July campaign).

I'm not sure they ran a focus group before releasing the cookie dough. if they did maybe there was alcohol involved. You'd need to be drunk to tolerate it, like forgot how I got home, what the hell did I eat last night, level of drunk
