WA Domino's No Longer Accept Discount Codes. Guess That's Me Done Then.

We've been getting Domino's for the kids on Fridays because the 40%, then 30% discount made it a reasonably cheap meal after swimming lessons. It meant one less day of cooking without it being too much out of pocket.

However since about 2 weeks ago, and when they announced their 'new pricing', none of the ongoing discount vouchers work. At this point I'd be paying the same amount as if I went 5 mins further up the road to an actual wood-fired pizza place, so we're going to have to change the Friday ritual to something more affordable OR bite the bullet and go for the better quality product.

Honestly Domino's, what is the point of smaller, lower quality offerings if they cost the same as the larger, better quality options?! No wonder they're losing money hand over fist.

Anyone come across any of the ongoing codes like the old employee number one that'd make going back worthwhile?

No wonder they're losing money hand over fist.

I think them giving out larger discounts leads to less business viability overall and probably would lead to losing more money rather than their attempt at damage control now.

    actual wood-fired pizza place

Yeah but you get an arguably better product, that most likely taste better, has better portion size and supports a small business?

It’s a trial in WA before a National rollout

Jack Cowin hates the endless discounting

    • does that mean the discounted price will be the actual price for now

      • They aren’t ping for an everyday low price model like Bunnings for example

OMG, how will you live now… You should sue Domino's! Why won't they think of the children, err, I mean your hip pocket.

As much as i love a trashy discount Domino’s pizza, it’s hardly a loss.

It might be a bit more expensive, but the wood fired pizza is the better option in terms of taste and quality.

    its no loss for anyone.
I hope it helps all the struggling independent pizza shops.

  • Does 872403 work at your store? I tried a random WA store with a random voucher and it works, but the daily 30% off code doesn't:

Pick Up 2:00 pm Fri 24 Oct
    Domino's Ellenbrook
    Voucher 872403
    $14.99
1 Large (upgradable) Value Pizza + 2 (upgradable) Sides from $14.99

They have the "package" deals. Like Pizzas + sides for X amount.
I think its like 3 traditional pizzas and 3 sides for $39. But all the pizzas are now an everyday low price. Traditional $13 Premium $16. So value can be had but cheap tuesdays are over…
This guy is kidding himself if he thinks a local pizza place does a pizza for $13, most locals start at around $20
I agree that Domino's is average and better food can be found but if you can feed your family take-away for under $40 these days, you can't complain.

They have reduced their prices and got rid of the overly complicated discounts. Personally I think it’s a good thing. $16 pickup for a “premium” pizza is pretty good. I’d be very surprised if your local wood fired pizzeria is offering similar prices.

    • Whats your opinion of pizza hut?

To me it tastes better. Hadnt had dominos in ages
