$24.22 is about the average price when looking at Bluetooth 2-in-1 dongles. That said, it seems pretty hit or miss in terms of compatibility and quality issues when looking at all the different options.
I bought this dongle the other day because I want to share Netflix on my iPad and Apple isn't playing nice with non-Apple headphones. And the Bose app no longer supports dual sharing to QC45 + SC.
The dongle has a built-in 300mA LiPo battery and needs to be charged via USB-C. This became pretty obvious when I saw a massive Lithium battery warning on the side of the Amazon box.
The package includes:
Bluetooth 2-in-1 Adapter
Carry pouch
USB-A to USB-C charging cable (C-C works)
Airplane adapter.
First impression: It's ok, but there are a few things to consider:
1) There's a slight static noise.
2) The audio is slightly delayed and out of sync when watching a video (500ms?)
3) The built-in battery needs to be charged using USB-C (19 hour runtime).
4) The audio level is a bit low. I do wonder how this dongle will perform on a flight. I can increase the volume with my Bose QC45 headphones so it's not an issue. But some headsets (Jabra) are too quiet.
Some positives:
1) The buttons and pairing process is simple to use.
2) AirPods 4 paired easily once I disabled automatic pairing on my Mac.
3) Other brands of headphones (Bose, Jabra) paired easily too.
4) USB-C to USB-C charging works.
5) There's a 4 LED battery status indicator.
ugreen went overboard with packaging and the user manual. The quick start card is great. I do wonder if they could save money by reducing the packaging and fancy printing.
Overall, the audio delay is a deal-breaker for how I want to use the dongle. I can't stand watching videos where the audio is off by almost half a second. If you're watching an over compressed video on a flight then the sync issue might be less noticeable.
I am enjoying listening to DAB+ via this dongle and Bose QC45 (JB deal here the other year).

Then why buy it?
