micro pc under $90
Bring your machete to computer shop near you.
You might get an ex-lease i5 Dell from 10 years ago for that price..
This is not directly relevant to the OP's question, but …
For a while I've been occasionally buying "refurbished" (ie, used) HP T640 thin clients. There's a lot of things they aren't much good for because they have very limited expansion capability, but they're compact, don't use much power, are silent because they have no fan, and they have a reasonably decent Ryzen processor that means they'll happily run Windows 10 and meet the requirements to run Windows 11. I figured out where to get the drivers that worked, the ones from HP itself are sabotaged so they only install if you're running the thin client version of Windows supplied by HP. They make a great little PC for internet and office use for people who only need that.
So I saw there was a new model, the T655. Faster quad core processor. Faster graphics. Faster RAM. All looked good. Some appeared going cheap second hand. Bought them. And they were as slow as a wet week on hard drive access. It seems HP rather than keeping the T640's gen3 x4 M.2 interface, or upgrading it to gen4 x4 for the new model, they've deliberately downgraded it to gen3 x2.
It is hard to come up with a reason they'd do that except to make the device less attractive and less useable to people who want to keep them from just becoming e-waste by re-purposing them as low power general purpose PCs after they've reached the end of their first life as thin clients. Like a lot of OzBargainers do with other brands of thin clients.
If that's the case its a very negative attitude toward making their products greener on the part of HP.
If you find one, share it because everyone's looking for that.

That's $100 with the 20% off code. 6th gen intel is probably the best you'll do around that price from a store.
Where do you see the code? Good pickup. Edit: nvm: code is BSA20
Good on ya! Just bought 4!
and later gen intel cpu
Later than what? pentium?
You are looking at a 6th gen intel, which is fine for a Proxmox home server. But 10 years old.
have a look on statice ice and put state:vic after search. or ebay. $90 won't get you as much of a cpu as you are hoping for
