    Lightning deal is 100% claimed

    • +2

Even full price 2 for $30 looks good for what it is. Ordered

      • Yes, still can buy 2 x for $29.99, also I think you can return one afterward to get one for $15.

      • +1

Still shows the same for me following your steps - $25.49 price 100% claimed?

        • Yeah sorry since gone. That escalated rapidly

          • +1

@GreyChris: Rip, all good thanks though. $15 each is still decent

            • @mickop: Yeah for sure. Good stocking filler. I'm keen to try open air headphones too. Bone conduction ones are great for keeping your ears open too but are uncomfortable. These or similar might be better.

              • +1

@GreyChris: I have two other brands, one very similar to this / guessing they are the same and happy with them. Very comfortable. This particular design bit tricky with sunnies/glasses, but fine

  • any first hand experience guys? Sound quality and BT connectivity ?

    • I have the Truefree version & they're solid for open-ear earbuds, I've now gone to the Truefree C10 version which are smaller & lighter (more comfortable for longer use, plus they have a button each bud) wrapping around the middle of your ear (inbetween the top & bottom of your ears).

      • +1

Same I have both, use C10 more now.

        • "This is the way" lol
So much more comfortable, plus having a button is much more practical, allowing me so to wear while lying down without issue.

  • Still in stock

    • Lightning deal expired, still have stock.

  • +3

    i got them for 2 for 30

    • Yep, add two to cart, go to checkout = $29.99 for 2 units

    • Thanks, still works I also managed to grab.

These appear to have multipoint connection: https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/618VIznN5jL.pdf

If true that's amazing for the price. I just ordered 2 for $30.

I reported the post as back in stock but the site admin did not want to edit this post to reflect the new price of $30, so I reposted the deal with $30 price here: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/930485

  • Thanks OP!

  • If someone wants 1 only I can get the other one, sydney

    • Buy 2 return one later, but not sure if you can do that if 2 x in one amount same item.

I did that before If two separate item in order history.

  • Does this have ANC if it says noise cancellation there??

    • its open ear headphones - not sure if noise cancellation or ANC is applicable.

      • It's possible .

ANC just cancels out sounds from one direction so they can implement on openear design still.

It's been made for higher end ones. one day budget ones will have too

  • These look suspiciously similar to the OWS headphones.
Are they loud enough to use while commuting or riding?

    • I used them this morning when riding bicycle to work this morning and found them to outperform my Soundpeats Air 5 when it comes to wind resistance. There wasn't much wind so it's possible when it picks up that they won't be as good.

  • One pair looks dead on arrival.. fit is nice.. sound is ok but some notes crack up a bit (no audiophile so not sure how to better explain it)

    • Stand corrected.. the unit was dead but not dead on arrival.. the case was fully charged but the buds had zero charge..

Also, the sound on YouTube is better than YouTube Music.. not sure how that works..

If they survive for a decent period, would say it's a good buy..

    • no audiophile so not sure

      Openear not for audiophile

return the dead one (higher price one), see if they will refund you $13.78

  • Very happy with mine. They are surprisingly loud and decent considering the price and the open design. Multipoint works great and the battery life so far seems very good. On paper they have 2x the battery life of my Soundpeats Air 5.

Multipoint works great. Same as the Air 5. I haven't tried game mode yet.

I used them on a bicycle ride this morning and found them to outperform my Soundpeats Air 5 when it comes to wind resistance. I would have thought it would have been completely the opposite as the soundpeats go inside the ear a bit and are louder. I think these Yamdrok ones shield the wind better, or the Soundpeats have an open port that causes wind noise to be amplified. It's possible when it gets really windy that the Air 5's extra volume would be better than the little shielding these have.

I found sunglasses not to get in the way of these and they are less likely to come loose and drop to the ground than my Soundpeats Air 5.

I would have paid full price for these as for my needs they outperform the Air 5's in all but sound quality (but still sound decent). I have better earbuds when it comes to sound quality anyway, but for podcasting and general media consumption I find these to be more than good.

    • For multi-point, the second device only shows audio/music.. but not calls.. yet to test if calls work on the second device but just wanted to check if that's how it is for everyone

      • My second device is working for calls on PC. I can select the microphone in Teams and tested it to work fine in a test call while it's still connected to my phone as device 1.

Also consider giving the deal a +1 seeing as you bought it.

        • +1

Thanks for confirming.. voted as well

        • Second device can only connect for audio.. as in, mic doesn't work (PC system mic is used for Teams - for my laptop at least) and only one ear bud works for the audio (either for calls or regular audio/video).. strange that it works differently for you.. not sure what I am missing

          • @csmsnnl: It is coming up as headphones, not headset, on PC but I am still able to select the microphone in Teams. I just made another test call and it's working. It's definitely using the microphone as this desktop PC doesn't have a microphone/webcam/any audio input besides this. The microphone also sounds quite good on the test call.

Have you tried making the PC device 1 and then connecting the phone? Have you got the app and turned on multipoint connection through there?

I've been using mine all day from 830am and the battery is still 50%+ (as of 515pm). I've been listening around 30% volume and maybe 1-2 hours have had no audio playing but still connected to multiple devices. It's looking like I can easily get a whole day from the moment I leave home until I get back while listening the whole time. I won't have to take the charging case with me which is really good as I forget it sometimes with my previous earbuds.

            • @studentl0an: the identical ones I have from another brand lasts a long while with the charge in case, to the point I forget when I charged the case last
