I guess if I was multi-billionaire I'd probably do something similar.It's actually some Prince or king from a middle eastern country, who bought the studio, and Ronaldo plays on a team he also owns, so if course he paid for the studio to include him. I think it's the same one who bought EA recently
@pichxlonco: Hasn’t happened (yet), the deal is expected to close by June 2026, so that gives a lot of time for the deal to be rejected by the current administration.
@FujinShu: Ah, was reading lots of people complaining about it, and didn't understand why as i thought the deal was closed. Hopefully they will find a good agreement
@FujinShu: Jared Kushner's investment firm is part of the consortium going after EA, I don't think the current US administration is going to stop it..
@pichxlonco: Saudi Arabia. A consortium is purchasing EA, so can't really say how much will be owned by the Saudis, but SNK is basically wholly owned.

@FujinShu: it doesn't practically, but complainers like to look at steam numbers and call games "dead"
in this case, majority of players are japanese on console, so my point was you will still always get a lot of matches regardless of what steam playercount says

One of my wishes in life is to have the patience and time to master fighting games. I take the time to do all the tutorials and practice all the combos in training mode only to end up button mashing and defualting to the same two special moves when the real matches start :(
